YOUTH HOSTELS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA DELHI STATE BRANCH: DALHOUSIE-KHAJJIAR TOUR

Youth Hostels Association of India, Delhi State Branch organised the "Dalhousie-Khajjiar" Tour from 23 May to 26 May 2012. A group of 25 including 4 families (parents with kids) left Delhi in "Dhauladhar Express" from Delhi to Pathankot and from thereon in hired taxis to Dalhousie. After a night's halt at Dalhousie, the next day they left for Khajjiar, "The Mini Switzerland of HP".

First the group reached Lakkar Bazar where all the children, ladies and not so very young members completed a small trek to Kalatop jungles. The total distance of this small trek to and fro from Kalatop was 6 kms in all which was immensely enjoyed by all especially children. From Kalatop, a group of 6 people proceeded onwards trekking all the way to Khajjiar through dense forests of the Kalatop jungles. This group covered a total distance of 15 kms.

Mr Prahlad Munshi was the convenor of this programme.

Ø Cancellation: 50% participation fee will be refunded if written request for cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the scheduled program along with the original fee receipts. No request for cancellation will be entertained on a notice of less than 7 days.
